Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be in Early Access for about 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will feature additional content and modes not found in the current Early Access build.

The full version of the game will feature:

• Ranked mode
  
• Additional Factions and Leaders.
  
• Complete story campaign.
  
• Lots of additional gameplay content for all, including Techs, Projects, Plots, Fleets, Titles, Resolutions, and Exploration events.
  
• Achievements.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are very happy with the current state of the game! We’ve been playing amongst ourselves and our testers for months now and we feel the core game is in a really great place.

We currently have:

• Our main game mode, Succession is fully playable in single or multiplayer.
  
• Offline Succession mode
  
• Custom Multiplayer Succession mode - customize your game and invite your friends for a galactic showdown.
  
• Casual Matchmaking - skill-based matchmaking to get you in a game with players from around the world.
  
• Single player story mode - first 4 missions available to play.

The game is still in an early state and you may experience some issues such as bugs, placeholder or repeated images and content, and some missing features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we will be increasing the price of the game at its v1.0 launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community as much as possible! Please join us on our Discord to give feedback, report any issues you may have, organize games, or just chat!

We want to hear your impressions and feedback to help us improve the core game and balance the many Factions, Leaders, Techs, and Traits to make sure all routes to victory are fun and viable.

Additionally, we don’t feel there are many games out there that fill the particular niche that Stellaris Nexus does, so we want to hear from you about how you like to play the game!
