Actor Antony Starr, who plays Homelander on The Boys, had a fantastic response when asked to respond to rumors that he might appear in a DC universe project in the future.

Asked by Comic Book to weigh in after fans noticed that Starr and DC Studios boss James Gunn recently followed each other on social media, Starr said, referencing Homelander's obsession with milk, "If it ain't milk, I ain't doing it, honey."

He added that he and Gunn connected over social media to arrange their golf outings. "Me and James just play golf," he said.

Starr went on to sing Gunn's praises and talk about how he is personally excited to see what Gunn creates in the DC world. "I think he's amazing. I cannot wait to see what he does with the DC universe. I think he's a phenomenal director, producer, talent. He's just one of the biggest brains in the industry. So I'm excited to see what he cooks up," he said.

Starr has definitely showcased his superhero acting chops on The Boys, so it's understandable that people are keen to see him play another similar role sometime down the road. It remains to be seen if that may ever happen, though.

For now, fans can look forward to seeing Starr come back in Season 4 of The Boys, which premieres June 13 on Prime Video. Season 5 has also been announced, while the spin-off series, Gen V, is coming back for a second season as well.

As for the DC universe, there are a number of high-profile projects in the works, including Joker: Folie a Deux this October, the Penguin series with Colin Farrell later this year, and then a new Superman film starring David Corenswet in 2025.
