Preorder Marvel Legends Hulkbuster, The No. 1 Best-Selling Action Figure On Amazon
This new Marvel Legends Hulkbuster action figure from Hasbro looks great, is huge, and can strike a great pose.
When you've got a green giant with breathtaking anger management issues tearing up the town, your regular suit of Stark Industries armor isn't going to cut it. That's where the Hulkbuster suit comes into play, as Amazon has opened up preorders for one of the most iconic Iron Man armors of all time. Priced at $60, this big piece of Hulk-punching plastic will release on October 1. The new Hulkbuster figure is part of Marvel's 85th anniversary collection, and it's proving to be extremely popular already. At the time of writing, the Hulkbuster is the No. 1 best-selling action figure on Amazon.
The cool thing about this action figure is that it is designed to be in scale with the regular six-inch collectibles in the Marvel Legends line. On its own, it dwarfs those toys with a height of nine inches and it comes with cool extras like a removable helmet, a Tony Stark head, additional armor pieces, and an extra pair of punch-happy fists. This particular suit is based on the version designed by artist Adi Granov, which was featured on the cover of a 2006 issue of Iron Man.
The Hulkbuster also has an impressive amount of articulation, so you can create a pretty cool diorama piece if you pair it with a Hulk from the Marvel Legends line. In case you need one, this MCU-inspired Gladiator Hulk shown below released last year and should go nicely with the Hulkbuster. Like the Hulk who appeared in Thor: Ragnarok, he's rocking cool gladiator armor, has several weapons, and he's sized at the correct scale. Plus, he can strike several great poses.
Alternatively, you can also build your own Hulkbuster! Lego has manufactured several Hulkbuster building sets, and they've all received discounts. The Hulkbuster Mark 2 from Avengers: Infinity War is a sleek piece of armor with an impressive amount of articulation, and the 385-piece set includes minifigures of the Hulk's alter-ego Bruce Banner, Wakandan defender Okoye, and two Outriders from Thanos' army.
- Lego Avengers: Infinity War Hulkbuster -- $40 (
$50) - Lego Premium Hulkbuster -- $419 (
$550) - Lego Hulkbuster vs. Thanos -- $21.70 (
$27) - Lego Iron Man Armory -- $66 (
$90) - Lego Avengers Quinjet Spaceship -- $80 (
$100) - Lego Infinity Gauntlet -- $70
For a more premium collectible, there's a Hulkbuster set with over 4,000 pieces that can be used to construct the mechanical titan, and this one features three light-up arc reactors, a fully jointed upper body, and an opening cockpit. A few smaller kits are also available in case you'd prefer a quick build.
And finally, it might not be on sale, but the Lego Marvel Nano Gauntlet (Iron Man edition) is always cool. It looks authentic and is fun to build, but its biggest downside is that you can't alter the fabric of reality when you snap its fingers.
